This week I received a very generous gift of school books for Uganda. There’s approximately 300 books that includes reading and writing curriculum for several grade levels. There’s also health, bible and music curriculum and there’s quite a few literature books. I believe the books initially came from a Christian school and therefore, there is several copies of the same book or curriculum. We’ll be able to tutor several children at once on the same subject or maybe even equip a school classroom with curriculum. The books will also be a welcome addition to the Tegot Village library being built by ECM. I’m thrilled to receive these books and can’t wait until I can bring them to Uganda and start using them.
I am so grateful to the member of my support team who arranged this donation and for the lady who gave the books. I thank you for considering the children in Uganda and I thank the Lord for your thoughtfulness.
I continue to experience the thoughtfulness, generosity and care from the members of my team. I’m overwhelmed by the loving and caring people God has placed in my life and for their encouragement. I am so thankful for each and every one of you. Together, I believe God will use us to bring faith, hope and love to the forgotten children and young people in Uganda.
For the body is not one member, but many. 1 Corinthians 12:14
My heart is touched by the generosity, support, and love you’ve received from those “sending” you to Uganda.
And I’m touched, too, by your heart’s desire to leave your home in order to bring love, hope, and faith to those in Uganda who are so in need of it.
I always appreciate reading your blog posts.
